Your data is yours.
What we collect
The name, birth date, time and place you enter; the same details for the people you add. We set an anonymous identity cookie and a language-preference cookie in your browser. An e-mail address is not required: you give it only if you want to link your account, buy Premium or join the newsletter. We never ask for a phone number.
What we use it for
To calculate your birth chart and generate readings. Readings are produced by sending only the computed placements and your first name to a language-model service; your birthplace, full date and e-mail are not sent. Your e-mail is used only for sign-in links, subscription notices and (if you joined) the newsletter; we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Account and sign-in
We store no passwords. Sign-in works through a single-use link sent to your e-mail, valid for 20 minutes. Once you link your e-mail, your data belongs to your account rather than the browser and is reachable from any device.
Payment
Payment is taken by Dodo Payments (merchant of record) outside Turkey and by Shopier in Turkey; purchases in the Android app go through Google Play. Your card details never reach us. To match the payment to your account we keep only the e-mail address you paid with and the order or subscription id.
Notifications
We send the daily notification only if you turn it on in Settings. The push subscription is an anonymous key tied to your device; you can turn it off any time.
Where it lives, who we work with
Data is stored on Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting) over encrypted connections. We send e-mail through Resend. For generating readings, the language-model provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic) sees only the minimal data described above; a question you write in “Ask your chart” is also sent to it to produce the answer, and your last 20 questions and answers are kept on your account (Delete all my data removes them). These providers process the data solely to provide the service to us.
Analytics and cookies
There are no cookies beyond the identity and language cookies. We use Vercel Analytics for visit statistics; it sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not track you across sites. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept until you delete it. From the Settings page you can permanently delete your chart, your people, every generated reading and your e-mail link with one tap. If you joined the newsletter, write to us to unsubscribe. Payment records that must be kept by law remain with Shopier, Dodo Payments and Google Play.
Your rights
Under Turkish data-protection law (KVKK) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data. You can correct and delete it yourself from Settings; for other requests, selam@yorunge.app. We do not offer the service to anyone under 18.
